Dear T-D Family:

Last Friday marked the last Friday of summer school and now Ms. Light, Dr. Van Lesberghe, Mr. Johnson, Ms. Pilla, Ms. Bubesi, and Mr. Griffin finally have some free time……maybe.

While the reopening of school doors seems not so far away (one month ++++) T-D’s theme teachers are preparing their courses and course descriptions for the 8th – 12th grade student population now.

The past two Sundays I, along with a handful of faculty members, have been chasing Mongolia in Central Park in the Big Apple and at the Brooklyn Borough Hall. The help we received and the contacts we made will all be invaluable to our “Magic Realism” year.

Next Sunday the Don Quixote quest continues, once again Brooklyn, home, by the way, of 2,000 Mongolians. The Brooklyn Public Library will be our destination as there is an exhibit there featuring artifacts that help preserve Mongolian culture and history.

I’ll be back to you on August 20th, right after camp disbands on the previous Friday.

Khan” hardly wait for the year of “Magic Realism”.

Warmly,

Douglas E. Fleming, Jr.

Headmaster
