Dear T-D Family:

June is bustin’ out all over and Thornton-Donovan doesn’t have any time for the rain. Our Fringe Festival date has now changed from this Sunday to next Sunday, June 11 – same times – same venues – same places. All the events for the day are posted on line. Just remember the change of date. Also via snail mail, all T-D families were sent the full day’s menu beginning at 8:30 am and ending at 6:00 pm, just in time for Andrew Breazna’s birthday. Remember the new date for the Fringe Festival is SUNDAY, JUNE 11.

Tomorrow, June 2, is T-D’s last Arts House for the ’16-’17 school year. Please circle this special day in red. The curtains lift promptly at 7:00 pm and T-D will be entertaining you from the stage at New Rochelle Public Library, close to Sutton Flowers. Adults pay $10 for admission and children are free.

There are three Lower School dates to keep in mind. On Thursday June 8 grades K-5 will be at the Bruce Museum of Arts & Science. A few days later on Tuesday June 13, K-5 will enjoy a Field Day right here on campus. Thornton-Donovan’s Moving Up Ceremony begins at 10:30 am on Wednesday, June 14, Flag Day. Of course, all parents are invited to attend to salute a year of remarkable accomplishments.

Grades K-12 have their last day of school on Wednesday, June 14. Dismissal is 11:30 am for all grades. Graduation day on June 16 officially concludes the 2016-’17 school year. Commencement is at 4:00 pm. It is also the day that T-D begins its salute of Albania.

Enjoy the little sun that comes our way.
Sincerely,

Douglas E. Fleming, Jr.
