Dear T-D Families:

T-D’s May calendar has only a few events posted, but each one bears your kind attention.

By the time you read this the Parent-Teacher Partnership meeting will have been held.  The PTP team is all over the Spring Gala which is to be held on Saturday, May 31^st at the Larchmont Yacht Club.  I believe everyone already has an invitation.

T-D’s Re-registration deadline is quickly approaching.  Get in those happy bucks prior to D-Day which is on Monday, May 19^th.

The annual Testing Day is now in place.  It is next Thursday, May 22^nd.  T-D’s grades K-11 will be tested and evaluated.  It would be good to have perfect attendance that day.

On Wednesday, May 28^th the Westchester Scholastic Achievement Dinner will be held.  Board Chair Augie Nigro and seniors Seth Borko and Andreas Pausch will all represent the school.

Our annual Lions Club Scholarship Dinner Dance is on line for Thursday, May 29^th.  It is always a fun evening.  Join us by calling Lion Annemarie Licini-Paris at T-D.

Two days later is the Spring Gala.  Not only is it a great party, but it also raises considerable funds for the school.  A good percentage of the proceeds will go to T-D’s new playing fields.  It’s a good goal.

TEACHER INFORMATION

1. Students do not have to report for morning and/or afternoon exams should they not have a final.

2. All report card grades must be submitted to Mrs. Silverstein by Thursday, June 12th at 3:00 p.m.

3. Students from grades 9-12 may be exempt from final exams.  Their names will be posted on Annemarie’s office door on Thursday, June 5th.

STUDENT INFORMATION

1. All exams will last 120 minutes.  No student will be dismissed until after 120 minutes of testing time.

2. If a student misses his or her final exam, a make-up will be given on Thursday, June 12th at 9:00 a.m.

3. No student in grades 9-12 will sit for a final exam until their Community Service requirement is complete.

4. The T-D dress code is still in effect.  Taking an exam requires adherence to the dress code.

5. There will be no open-book testing in any class in grades 6-12.

6.  Graduation rehearsal for all 8^th & 12^th graders will be Wednesday, June 11^th at 12:30 PM SHARP!

7.  ANY STUDENT CAUGHT OR INVOLVED IN CHEATING WILL FAIL FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR AND JEOPARDIZE HIS OR HER STAY IN THE SCHOOL.

8. ANY USE OF TECHNOLOY TO GIVE OR GET ANSWERS ON A FINAL EXAM WILL RESULT IN AN AUTOMATIC F GRADE.
