What is Student Council?
Student Council is a student-based civic organization designed to help
promote school spirit and leadership among students.
Students participating in all levels of Student Council will maintain a
high standard of personal conduct. Student Council members will
demonstrate leadership qualities by serving as good examples of
behavior through their words and actions.
All council members will be expected to participate in approved
activities, which will serve to enhance the quality of both the physical
and behavioral environment of the school.

What does the TD Student Council do?
The TD Student Council has been actively involved in school activities throughout the last few years. Such activities include Halloween Photo Shoots, Movie Nights, Holiday Goody Bags, Powderpuff Sports Days, and other ongoing school activities in which proceeds go to various local community agencies throughout New Rochelle such as HOPE Community Center, Providence House, Great Day Family Child Care, etc. The TD Student Council has also engaged in ongoing various community service projects throughout New Rochelle. These include coat and food drives to HOPE Community Center, visits to the Humane Society of Westchester, toy donations to Great Day Family Child Care and Providence House, and beautifying Overlook Circle. If anyone has a specific need that the Student Council is able to assist in, please don’t hesitate to contact any Student Council member or Ms. Tudisco.

TD Student Council in Action:
The TD Student Council continues to hold peer tutoring sessions in the morning, at lunch, or after school for anyone interested. Please contact a Student Council Member or Ms. Tudisco in order to sign up.
