International Admissions

Thank you for considering Thornton-Donovan School.

International students are enrolled in the same college-preparatory program as American students and, upon graduation, receive the same diploma. Thornton-Donovan is accredited by Cognia. Thornton-Donovan welcomes students from anywhere on the globe who have the motivation and self-discipline for academic success and who will be able to develop and showcase their talents. T-D follows non-discriminatory practices.

Tuition Rate Scale for International Students 2024-2025

  • Application Fee $150

  • Tuition* Grades 6-12 $60,000
    *Includes Room & Board, Processing & Acceptance Fee

How To Apply as an International Student

  1. Complete the Thornton-Donovan Application online or on paper and submit it to the school with $150 and a copy of the student’s school records. If there is no TOEFL or other proof of English ability, an interview is preferable and mandatory.

  2. If the student is accepted, you will receive a letter of acceptance requesting a $10,000 non-refundable payment, which will be applied to tuition. This will secure a place for the student for the applicable school year. Student health records in English must also be submitted at this time.

  3. Proceed with the I-20 and application for Student Visa.

  4. When the Student Visa is confirmed, you will receive an invoice for the tuition balance due in August for Fall admittance.
